Grammy award winning singer, Michelle Williams, hosted the second annual Diamonds Gala at Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront. Diamonds Gala is a story-telling fundraiser organized by the nonprofit Founders Commission. Michelle Williams shared her story of stardom and advocated for mental health awareness at the gala. ESPN's, Nicole Briscoe, emceed the event. The story-time included a plated dinner service, bar, Q&A, and a musical performance by Michelle Williams. 

My role for this event was serving as the Banquets Operations Manager

Estimated Attendance: 400 people

Duties included:

- Executing room set-up & layout design 

- Liaison with AV team, event client, and decorators 

- Managing banquet staff for formal table settings and dinner service 

- Ensuring all of the client's needs were met throughout event
